Changes to the Immigration Rules will come into effect on 6 April 2012. Tier 1 (Post-study work) route will close on 6 April 2012. If you wish to apply for permission to stay in the UK under Tier 1 (Post-study work), your application must be submitted by 5 April 2012 From 6 April 2012, following the closure of Tier 1 (Post-study work), if you have graduated after studying in the UK, you can apply for leave to remain in the UK under other immigration routes if you meet the criteria.
